Charismatic Leadership
India has witnessed several revolutions and has successfully stood before the weathers of change and after every strike of hammer that struck its body it only turned to become better like an un-carved piece of rock which gradually shaped into a beautiful portrait. With every stroke of chisel there was an unravelled beauty that emerged from within. The country stood like a rock before the waves of change, waves of destruction that tried to rupture its fabric but were not able to shake the country’s beliefs, its ideology and determination. The destructive forces either fell flat on their face in their endeavours or were finally assimilated in the diverse social fabric of the country and became an integral part of the society.
Today’s India that we see, is the consecration of all the sacrifices that were made by the inspiring leaders of the country who at time and again rose to the occasion and lead this country with their charisma. These are the people who despised the social evils, pursued freedom relentlessly without caring for themselves. These are the people who not only brought laurels to the country before the rest of the world but also demonstrated how to take the people in their stride and lead them. India is attributed as a powerful and sovereign nation because of the great sacrifices made by these charismatic leaders on the altar on the development.
Youth of India
Of all the resources that a country needs we are endowed in abundance with the most important of all and that is the Young Population. It is the youth power only that we have been striding in almost every sector and region and giving the country, the much needed push for its further development and growth. The youth of this country have braved against all the odds present before them and have emerged as successful entrepreneurs in all the walks of the life by taking risks and beating them down. The youth of the country have been successfully able to steer the growth engine of the economy and have been able to disapprove all the doubts that have been casted as hurdles before the growth of India and its people. Country’s youth has challenged the age old norms of the society and discarded those that tried to shackle the growth of the nation. The country today vaunts of the prosperity brought to it by its youth who is exuberant about the future of the nation.
India at Cross-Roads
The country today stands at the crossroads of the development and is plagued with several issues that need to be taken quickly because of the disruptive forces that try to impede the progress of development story. The country today again needs a charismatic leader who can lead the country out of grief-stricken state and make the country shine on the Global arena. The youth of India is present in all the sectors and segments but Leadership. The youth of India is today shirking of its major responsibility of leading the country. The youth today abstains from leading the country at the political front and tries to engage itself it in activities that project a self-centred development of its own. The country is veering astray on its course of being a super-power. A place which gave world some of the best leaders today faces dearth of great leaders because of one simple reason and that being, its own youth finds politics a subject of un-touch ability. This callousness has left the country lurching in the darkness and being ruled by the people who indifferent to the progress of the country and its people.
Lead India
The power of the youth is immense and is a much sought after entity that the country needs today. There is power of Transformation with the youth that can redefine the fate of this country, fate of its people. The youth has the power of determination which can raise the country to new heights. But in order to achieve this goal there is need of participation from the youth who can lead the country from the frontline. Former President Dr. Abdul Kalam said there is need of Ignited Minds today that can make a marked difference in shaping the country as a World Leader. The need of a leader, calls today the young generation to take up the stage and unleash its power to re-define the challenges. There is no dearth of either talent or the numbers to make the things happen but determination and spirit of leadership. This article makes another attempt to address the youth so that it sheds off its ignorance of leading country and urges them to make this country a place as envisioned by our great Freedom Fighters.
