Why is Everyone Talking About the Power of Young India?

There are a number of reasons why everyone around us is talking about the power of a young India. For one, we are the people who can make a difference. We are the one who can set the tone for a generation to come. We are the ones who have raised our voices after years of facing defeat from a corrupt government. We have realized that we deserve better and that we can make it happen, what are we talking about here? It’s  change, a change that guarantees a tomorrow that if bereft of corruption.

So, how can we make this happen? Well, to make a change to the system, we have to be in the system, and apparently the Indian government has a criminal criteria that they require to get people into the system. So, while young India gears up to meet those qualifications, should we sit back and wait, or should we take things into our own hands as civilians and try and make a difference. The answer to that will be a resounding yes, at the rallies that had been recently organized for India against corruption. However, after the curtains are down and the fasts are over, people go back home and forget that they have a power residing within them that they need to exploit.

That does not happen. People simple go back home and revert to how they were used to living life until another civilian, another man with a plan comes to the fore and says, it is now time to make a difference, it is the young that should stand with me and help me make a difference. Soon that will be forgotten too.

The mere mentality of every Indian, young or old needs to be changed, they need to start believing in change and making efforts to make that happen. Blaming the government and cribbing about the few things that make the news is not something that is going to get us too far. If the power for change rests within us, it’s not just a handful that are going to be able to make a difference. The spark for a revolution comes from absolute depravity, and the  youngsters of today, have what it takes in terms of income to let things slide.

We, the young Indians are comfortable with the system, a few of us know that not carrying a license will get us off the hook if we get caught, a few of us have accepted the fact that paying a few hundreds will allow to get away with anything and we will be shattered if things were to change. How are we going to change that…?
